Development of a Coupled Geomechanics Module for Reservoir Simulators on Parallel Computers

Abstract This research work build a frame work of geomechanics module for parallel computation. The corresponding solver for mechanics is highly efficient. The module can handle complex mixed boundary condition. It is based on tetrahedron grid and can couple reservoir simulator with hexahedron grid. The coupling with reservoir simulator works and shows geomechanics effects.
