Abstract:
This presentation shows that existing software on hydraulic fracturing can integrate multiple data types and concepts into a comprehensive, consistent model and perform 3D geometry fracture simulation with a fully coupled fluid/solid transport simulator. They can describe the fracture detail and predict job results well. However, it is complex to use and time-consuming. This work focuses on the software development with C++ language. The analytical models are used to predict the production with both transverse and longitudinal fractures. Meanwhile, the production rate of each fracture is different from each other.
