The In-house In-situ Combustion Reservoir Simulator on Distributed-memory Parallel Computers

In this work, an in-house ISC simulator is developed and the distributed-memory parallel platform is adopted to improve the performance. Latest interdisciplinary knowledge of computational mathematics, computer engineering, reservoir engineering are introduced in this presentation. It can be seen that computationally intensive reservoir models can be simulated in acceptable time. A strong stepping stone has been set for future improvements.
