Relative Permeability Hysteresis Effect on CO2-WAG in Water-Wet and Oil-Wet Reservoirs

This presentation shows that hysteresis has no effect on water-flooding and CO2-flooding. Not considering hysteresis will result in underestimating the oil production in CO2-WAG. Less CO2 is injected in WAG models with hysteresis. More CO2 is trapped in WAG models with hysteresis. Effect of the hysteresis is independent of the reservoir wettability.
