Abstract
In this presentation, accurate analytical formulas were derived for calculation of electric potential distribution within an interstitial EDL in various particle geometries. The analytical solutions obtained for cylindrical and spherical particles have the same form. The curvature of potential profiles in cylindrical and spherical geometries is controlled by values of the correction factors. It was found that the factors are independent of properties of a system. Predictions of the obtained formulas perfectly match the corresponding numerical results over all practical ranges of parameters.
