RESEARCH EXPERIENCE  

       Team leader, 7th China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition         03/2017 –05/2017

Analyzed and studied given data relating the fractured-vuggy reservoir by associating theories of reservoir engineering, logging interpretation, numerical simulation and scheme optimization. It is a competition that not only tests the participants’ petroleum engineering knowledge and innovation consciousness, but also requires teamwork spirit and high communication ability.

  • Builded well test models for the specific problem independently.
  • Participated in building geological/numerical models for the problem.
  • Leaded in composing the research paper.

       Team leader,13th National Postgraduate Mathematic Contest in Modeling, 2016          09/2016 – 09/2016

Studied a given mathematical problem relating the ultimate design of Navigation and Positioning Network by associating theories of signal processing and analysis. It is a 100-hour competition that team members need to make great full use of every minute to compose a comprehensive research paper of tens of pages within the contest schedule.

  • Participated in building mathematical models for the problem.
  • Wrote calculation programs by MATLAB independently.
  • Leaded in composing the research paper.

       Research Team Participant, Research on the enhanced recovery technology by water injection and the connectivity of fractured-vuggy units in Tahe oilfield (Funded by SINOPEC Westnorth Oil field Company).           07/2016 –  07/2017

  • Calculated the well connectivity in fractured-vuggy reservoir by Monte Carlo simulation and Percolation theory.
  • Implemented numerical simulations of natural fractures have complexed geometry by finite volume method.

       Research Team Participant, Study on dynamic data analysis method of Ordovician slot type reservoir in Tahe oilfield (Funded by SINOPEC Westnorth Oil field Company) .          08/2015  – 08/2016

  • Collected and analyzed dynamic data (Production, Water injection, Well Test, Pressure).
  • Calculated relevant formation parameters using reservoir engineering knowledge.
  • Established a new workflow for productivity evaluation of fractured-vuggy reservoirs and selected favorable well for water injection.
  • Investigated interaction between formation permeability and natural fractures in fractured reservoirs by numerical method.

       Research Team Participant, Research on elaborated water injection technology of fractured-vuggy reservoirs (Funded by SINOPEC Westnorth Oil field Company).          08/2014  – 08/2015

  • Collected and analyzed experiment data.
  • Researched on the stable production capacity of oil well in fractured-vuggy unit and analyzed its key influence factors based on historical production data and Eclipse black-oil simulator.
  • Established a new well test model for fractured-vuggy unit.

       Research Team Participant, Control research and failure evaluation of water injection well in fractured-vuggy reservoirs (Funded by PetroChina Oilfield Company).   06/2013 – 06/2014

  • Optimized the gas injection parameters after water injection was failed by Eclipse black-oil simulator .
  • Optimized the water injection parameters based on well performance forecasted by Eclipse black-oil simulator.
  • Investigated the connectivity between difference production wells in fractured-vuggy reservoir.
