Abstract

This work shows that when the horizontal half fracture length increases, the value of b is remained as a constant, and the value of D_i slightly decreases. When horizontal half length is fixed, D_i increases as the vertical half length increases, which owns positive relation with vertical half length. Longer outer fractures lead to a larger drainage area and higher oil production from low permeability tight oil reservoirs. Cluster spacing , bottom hole pressure, fracture conductivity and fracture half length are important factors, and the fracture spacing has principal effects on oil production
