Our group have had five papers accepted by the 2015 SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium:

  1. H. Liu, K. Wang, Z. Chen, and K. Jordan, Efficient Multi-stage Preconditioners for Highly Heterogeneous Reservoir Simulations on Parallel Distributed Systems, Paper SPE-173208-MS, SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium, Houston, TX, February 23-25, 2015.
  2. G. Brown, D. Collins, and Z. Chen, Efficient Preconditioning for Algebraic Multigrid and Red-Black Ordering in Adaptive-Implicit Black-Oil Simulations, Paper SPE-173231-MS, SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium, Houston, TX, February 23-25, 2015.
  3. T.Q.C. Dang, L.X. Nghiem, Z. Chen, Q. Nguyen and T.B.N. Nguyen, Modeling and Optimization of Low Salinity Waterflood, Paper SPE-173194-MS, SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium, Houston, TX, February 23-25, 2015.
  4. A. Mirzabozorg, L. Nghiem, H. Li, C. Yang, and Z. Chen, A New Look at Conflicting Multiple Objectives Optimization Using Fuzzy Rule-Based System, SPE-173209-MS, SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium, Houston, TX, February 23-25, 2015. K. Wu, X. Li and Z. Chen, A General Model of Gas Flow in Shale Reservoirs with Nano-to Micro-scales, SPE-173201-MS,SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium, Houston, TX, February 23-25, 2015.
  5. K. Wu, X. Li and Z. Chen, A General Model of Gas Flow in Shale Reservoirs with Nano-to Micro-scales, SPE-173201-MS,SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium, Houston, TX, February 23-25, 2015.

These are great achievements. The SPE Reservoir Simulation Symposium is the most prestigious symposium in the world. The acceptance rate is only 1/3. Our group have submitted 7 papers and got 4 accepted. That is really great news.
