Abstract

Dispersivityis important in fluid flow simulations. Geometry and heterogeneity of the reservoir affect the dispersivity value and make it a variable parameter. It can be represented by different functions, we used a discontinuous function, and the slope of the linear part was our objective function. Through an injection-observation well design we are able to determine the dispersivity function.
