This presentation gives analytical models for quick field-scale performance prediction of SAGD and solvent-aided SAGD.  The models developed in this work is simple and representative; mechanism based and can reduce the endless optimization possibility. Comparing to models in the literature, we can  see that the models in this work representing the entire process lifetime;  more accurate estimation of in-situ heat distribution, SOR and steam chamber shape; more reliable representation of phase  behavior; capturing the potential displacement efficiency improvement and solvent retention during co-injection. From the presentation, we can see that a reliable analytical  model should be representation of the physics of the process and capture  the primary mechanisms.
