Abstract

In the work,  the GEP mathematical approach was executed to propose a user-friendly corresponding state approach for monitoring the oil production rate in VAPEX implementation. The obtained statistical indexes from the output results of the developed approach demonstrate about a 10% maximum absolute relative deviation from the experimental VAPEX database values. The outcomes of this research showed the robustness and effectiveness of the GEP and commercial simulation software in heavy oil recovery can be evolved by utilizing GEP to decrease their uncertainty and increase outputs reliability.
